Domo π ~ I'm back again with another entry and this time I would like to talk about the livestream for west 7th anniversary ππ€!
And to those wondering, yes, this livestream is yet to be subbed. I was hopping to subbed it but I realized that my Japanese is still not strong π€. So, if there's anyone out there that wanna collaborate with me to do the translation, just DM me on twitter π!
Ok, so Livestream?
Yes, they did a livestream of their anniversary celebration because you know, covid-19, so the government is restricting any form of large-scale gathering activities (actually, some large event in Japan did have concert with audiences but there's an extremely strict SOP to be followed ❗)
But, Johnny's wouldn't want to take the risk, so instead, they did a livestream of it and I'm actually grateful for it because an international Jasmine like me can finally have a chance to watch it π.
Ok, let's stop talking about the pandemic and let's get on to the juicy part π€©!
On 23rd April 2021, Johnny's West Celebrated their 7th Anniversary since debut and prior to that, they also released their 7th Album entitled [rainboW] , you can listen to it HERE if you want π! And if you buy 2 version of the album, you will get an ID numbers in which you can register and get yourself a ticket to watch the their 7th Anniversary Livestream! Quite the marketing, isn't it π§?
So, skipping the part where us (International Jasmines) were nervous on whether our copy would arrive before the registration date closed, livestream & recording planning, excited for the event and all the uchiwas preparation for it and bla bla bla..
Tick tock, tick tock, it's 23rd April 2021. Yatta~!
Before the shows start, I was wondering, "what songs would west perform for the opening π€?". Eejyanaikka? Rainbow Chaser? Ai no Dorei (I'm not sure how I get to this one π) but basically everyone including myself is betting on all sorts of songs but eventually we were wrong about everything.
WE WERE WRONG!
The screen opened and they sang, [ Rainbow Dream ] π!!!
I wasn't expecting this at all but it definitely hit hard as flood of memories comes flooding through my mind while they were performing it and look! They are looking so matured as compare to how they were before when they sang this song during their debut days π₯. #takoboyshasgrownup
Then, after they finished performing, the screen went dark and we were enlighten by the beautiful pictures of west and suddenly bam! Tako boys are here π!
They greet us with a smile and I can't help but to smile also from ears to ears when I saw it ππ. After that, they opened the door and BOM!
LOOK AT THE STAGE DECORATION PEOPLE π²π²!!!
Staff-san really put in a lots of effort in putting together all west memories onto the stage and I'm so touched by it π. From their debut days till today, everything was on that very stage and I applauded again the staff team for this amazing stage decoration!! You totally deserve the credit for it!
Even west members were surprised with the stage decorations and they went on to look at each of the items that is being placed on stage. One of it is the stage outfit. There were 3 of it and everything was Shige's. Funny thing is that, they even put the the Ai No Dorei costume there (they shouldn't put it there, not good for us π€ͺ).
Then, after going through all the items on stage, they sat down on the sofa to make a kanpai with their glasses and finally celebrate their 7th Anniversary. γΈγ£γγΌγΊWEST γ¨ηγγγγγ§γ¨γγγγγΎγ！
For a second, I though it was alcohol but Ryusei immediately said "Ahh, such a nice grape juice ~" Oh Ryusei, you should give us few minutes of shockness before you break the secret π. But even if he doesn't said it, Shige will do it anyway because he immediately took out the jug with the grape juice in it and politely filled up Ryusei glasses π€£!
After the kanpai, they had a small chit-chat session. They thanks the viewers who are watching it right now, 1st time doing an anniversary livestream, radio and other stuff, before Kami-chan interrupt and said that they should sing a song. So, he took out a big remote machine (I don't know what you called it but you can always find it at a karaoke booth) to choose the song but then Hama-chan come forward and insist that he will choose the song instead.
Ah-ouh π, I smell troubles ~
Then, those two begins to fight on who would have the right to choose the song. It first started off with some mouth fighting, but then Hama-chan started to push Kami-chan and Kami-chan pushed Hama-chan π€―.
Other members came in to the rescue but it was too no avail as they couldn't be stopped! (Even though you can clearly see that it's all just an act π)
And so, to stop the fight, our lovely center, Shige, stepped in and suggest that they play a game instead to decide to will have the right to choose the song!
