The year is almost end and I shall summarize as many as possible of Johnny's West activities throughout the whole year of 2020!
I will try my best to summarize it, but not in a timeline manner since I did not keep track on which month that they do it. So, I will just write out on what activities the had done for the year.
With that being said, let's start!
Johnny's Happy Live With You (YouTube)
So, this, was basically the start of my journey into the world of Johnny's West.
Obviously I had zero idea on how they are, what are their music and etc. I just happen to watch their live and I should thank Covid-19 in a way for this matter.
Since Covid-19 hit the world, gathering was banned and so, big music scene including J&E could not held any live with audience. Instead, they rent the whole concert hall and turned it into an online performance. It was weird at first because there are no audience but after a while, you get used to it.
Also, I'm not 100% ignorance of the other talent under J&E, I do know, just that, I am not following them properly. But, after I watch JWEST performance during this live, immediately I told myself that I'm gonna start digging about them.
And so I did and here I am today, writing to you guys about it ๐ค.

Johnny's Happy Live With You (Paid)
After the whole Happy Live on YouTube, they went on and announced a special paid Happy Live in which, each day will have 3 artist performing.
I first I was not really sure whether my money would be worth to spend on watching them but I make a right decision to do so. I was shocked, impressed, and totally being captured by their performance. It was beyond my expectation and since then, I vow to know more about JWEST!
Some comment I read on twitter mentioned that, west performance was really fun to watch even though they did not know them very well. Others also mentioned that they become interested to know more about west after watching their performance.
But, before I came to watch them on this show, they had previously hooked me with this ๐
14th Singles [ ่จผๆ ]
Oh gosh, this singles. I mean, I was in the middle of watching their old PV and listening to their music and went ่จผๆ drop, I was beyond speechless in term on how they sound + the lyrics.
The sound definitely put them on another level and the image we had about them are slowly changing. Kinda like your are now seeing another side of west which is the kakkoi image. I know it is hard for them to come out with a kakkoi image based on what they had released so far, but ่จผๆ manage to give them that image.
Also, the news was released on twitter and let me tell you how crazy excited Jasmines are about it. And and, to top it off, they even released a 2 min promotional video on twitter~!
Not just that, they even drop the news of west gonna have a band session for their B-side song which is ANS & ้้ใใชใ (7 member ver.)
Gosh I just love this singles ๐!
All Night Nippon (Special)
They had special radio session where all members were gathered and talk for about 3 hour long!
Gosh, this really made my day and they were promoting for ่จผๆ at that moment.
They even share a behind-the-scene photos of the session. Everyone was in the same place but they were divided by a transparent class (covid-19 related). But still, my heart feel warm when looking back at the photos ๐.

The show has been going since last year and they are continuing it in a different format due to covid-19. In the early recording, most of the member were being put in a cubicle separated by a long and big transparent glasses.
It was fine but it feel kinda akward because I am used in seeing them moving around, hit each other and just goofing around. So, to see them being separated is a bit....
But, thank god it doesn't last long because now, they are filming outside + with kids ๐. They aired every Tuesday at 11.56PM (JST). If you have the time, go and watch it!
Magazines + Radio
You don't know how many screenshot and saving of pictures I have collected (็ฌ). A LOT, but I ain't complaining it. HAHAHAHA.
It's kinda bizarre to keep track with all the released and I can't thank enough to the Japanese Jasmine who has been kind enought to share their photos on twitter ๐ญ. ใใใใจใใใใใพใใ！
And it such a big temptation, because my hands keep wanting to click on CD Japan to buy it. HAHAHA.
Also, they have been continuing to do radio show since the start of the year until now. Personally, I love listening to their radio session ๐. It is like, a must thing to do (็ฌ).
Johnny's Dream Island
Family + Love = Dream Island
For those who don't know, this is actually a 1 month performance consist of Johnny's artist and Jrs. from Osaka. Another named that usually called by the fans is, Kansai Johnny's. Basically, this show is to promote Osaka until 2025. High probability that for the next 5 years, we're gonna get performance from them. Yeay!
As of now, the talent from Kansai Johnny's consist of ้ขใธใฃใ∞、ใธใฃใใผใบWEST、ใชใซใ็ทๅญ、Aใ！Group 、Lil ใใใใ, and the Kansai Jrs.
During Dream Island (the show run for the whole month of August) the talent took turn to perform live at Shochikuza theater but without the attendance of an audiences. Everything was done online.
Butai - Elephant Man
I won't go into details about this butai because you can definitely look it up on the net. One thing for sure, this stage is based on a real-life story about a man call Joseph Merick.
Non-chan was chosen to be the lead of this butai and he perform for a total of 31 times! Gosh, I just teared up when I watch the performance stage. Non-chan really show his ability as an actor because throughout the show I can't see Non-chan. I can only see Joseph Merick.
It was when it ended that I realized it was actually Non-chan. ใใใงใจใใจใ็ฒใๆงใงใใใฎใใกใใ๐!
WTrouble Live Tour 2020 (Online Concert)
The-Most-Awaited-Concert by Jasmine for 2020! Before the online concert thingy becoming a thing for J&E in 2020, JWEST announced that they would finally performing at Tokyo Dome by the end of 2020 and everyone was looking forward to it!
I remember reading the news and was extremely! extremely! happy with the news. Everyone was happy that JWEST was able to step into Tokyo Dome (finally!). Because the biggest dome they ever went is only Kyocera Dome back in 2017.
But theennnnnn, the virus came and WTrouble tour had to be cancelled ๐.
Thankful enough, J&E decide to turn it into an online concert and let me tell you, I'm blown away by Fuji ability in producing such a NEXT level concert for JWEST.

Ride on Time
Ride on Time is basically a 20-minute documentary style show about J&E artist. It cover stories from different group and currently airing the 3rd season.
For many Johnny's fans, this is a must watch documentary as you can have a glimpse look at behind-the-scene story happening like backstage, rehearsal and etc.
At one point, you will realized that it is not all glam and sparkle to be able to stand on the stage. There are a tremendous effort being put everyday to deliver the best performance to the fans.
So, from here I'm gonna be a bit biased but for S1 & S2, Johnny's West was not featured. Only Tokyo Johnny's talent was there the whole time and I was kind of sad about it. But, thank god they include the Kansai Jrs. in S2. Still, I'm sad that west was not featured.
Butttt, in S3 (currently airing), the include west but only for 1 ep ๐ค. I mean, they include the Kansai Johnny's Family story for the first 3 or 4 ep I guess? But only 1 ep feature for west and the rest was covered by the other Kansai Johnny's.
If you felt hate at me after reading that, fine with me. I'm just saying out here that I hope J&E would give more platform for them to show a different side of them rather than the boke image that public had for them.
West 15th Singles - ้ฑๅใใพใใใๆๆฅ
Type A Cover
This singles drop like a bomb! I mean, we are kind of expecting them to release a new singles before the end of the year but not like dropping it out of nowhere (Yes, that's definitely J&E style). But, as of now, we are just aware that they would released a new singles but the full release of the CDs will be out only on 13th January 2021.
I'm sooooo excited for it that I've bought myself the full set of it (It has 3 version of it). Well, I recommend that if you able to get yourself a copy of it, do bought it. Because, I mean, that's one way we can support and enjoy their music. Right?
One thing you should know, 2 of their songs are available (legally) on YouTube. Yes.. you write it right,

Gosh, you should really see how Jasmine react to this whole stuff being drop unexpectedly on YouTube ๐!

Woah, that is a lot ๐. It does took me sometimes to put everything together, well not everything but I do cover the highlight of JWEST for year 2020!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to another year of surprises and fun with Johnny's West and Jasmine in 2021 ๐ฅณ.
