Ever since I started following JWEST, they never stop surprising me with their choice of music genre. I mean, it change for every singles and that is what I liked about it 😍. Annnd, I dare say that JWEST is very daring and brave to take on new music genre everything they released a new singles. Except for “ええじゃないか” and “ズンドコパラダイス” I guess 🤔? It sounds almost similar to me.
Enough of introduction, let's get down onto the real stuff 🤩! 楽しい！
週刊うまくいく曜日 (Shuukan Umaku Iku Youbi)
The first time I listen to this song, it give me such a happy vibe feeling 😚. It like putting on a lively morning song that could just make you body move naturally. Fav part? Definitely the opening part, Junta's jump, and the middle dance part 😆✌.
And, I can say that this song is where you can see west members just go like literally EVERYWHERE on stage 😂 (relatable from watching wtrouble concert 😆✌)
カメレオン (Chameleon)
Jas, do you remember when west drop this crazy, cool lyric MV of chameleon 😏?
Jas went totally crazy over it and my timeline (at that time) was full of comment from Jas and non-Jas about how cool west members looks and this song definitely went beyond their expectation.
I mean, 📢 HELLO! JUST LOOK AT HOW COOL THEY LOOK 😱!!!?? afldklgajkd.
This is like, basically the coolest MV ever from west, butttttttt the song is quite short and I thought there would be more to it when the CDs arrive but the MV was the same like the one posted on YouTube and the songs had only a small different only.
A bit disappointed but I'm having a theory that west are keeping it for future surprised 👀!? Just a theory.
おい仕事ッ (Oi, Shigoto!) By Shigeoka Daiki
This whole song has the ultimate vibe of 5-years old Shige 😆🤘! Through the lyrics + the hyper energy of the song, you can totally relate it to Shige's energy. At first I was pretty excited to hear the song since Shige was the one who composed it and true enough it did meet my expectation but to be exact , it actually went beyond my expectation 😄.
It was amazing that Shige's was able to composed this songs which have the same energy as Shige that we saw on stage and variety show. It's like, you can feel that is Shige through this song and I'm glad that Shige was able to deliver his songs to us 🤗. You did amazing Shige!
Candy Shop
I am shocked 😳. For a record, I do know that west had perform a sexy song before but this one is taking it to another whole new level (for me personally)
First, the title confused me. At first I had a thought that maybe, maybe (before they released it), that this song gonna be something similar to 100% I love you. You know, those cute princess vibe and very sweet songs. But when it drop, I just went 😲🤯!
Second, the lyric. I have nothing to say (And you know what I mean by this 🙊)
Third, the performance. Ok, they haven't actually performed it but I'm already imagining all sorts of things (Don't ask me what it is 🙈). But this is like the whole group singing it rather than a team, like how Gimme Gimme Gimme was with Junta, Akito and Kami-chan. I have a personal expectation on them to deliver this song, but I wouldn't state it here 😆🤘.

When the CDs were released, some Jasmines were saying that this song kinda have the similar vibe of early K-pop ballad songs. Well, I have a different reaction to it. For me, this song reminded me of the 90's and early 20's era songs. That era where American artist like Avril Lavigne, David Archuleta, Ne-yo, LMFAO, baby Justin bieber and more. Ahhh, I miss those era 🥺.
So, yeah. This song definitely reminded me of those era even thought the songs spoke differently about it 🤣. But, everyone have a different thought and impression about it and these are mine 😊.
One thing for sure, it really is a nice ballad and can't wait to actually see them performing it 😄.

Gosh, I just love the opening of this song 😊. It's not in the lyric book, so you have to listen carefully at the beginning of the song 🤭. Again, this song contains all the happy vibe feelings and can west reminded Jasmine that we are not alone 🥰
Change Your Mind
First thing first, the opening of the song by Kami-chan really attacked me. I mean, he is really good at setting up the vibe of the song from the very beginning and I just love it 😍.
Thennn, I start to have this vibe and feeling where I felt that this song would suit best for an anime. It's like the complete package where you can use any part of the song as either and opening or closing of an anime. (Here, I'm already imagining that west are the main characters and do the voicing for it 😂)
Ouh!? Should I wrote a story about west where they are the main characters 👀?
WA! WA! ワンダフル (WA! WA! Wonderful)
PapaJani 😍!
The songs was played for countless time on PapaJani and we never actually get to hear to the full one until this singles was released and it was totally worth the wait 😍!! Definitely a wonderful song and suit the show very much. I'm glad that they were able to released this song for PapaJani and can't wait to see them performing this song with the kids, maybe 👉👈?
But this song definitely gonna make you jump and just felt like you wanna dance because the song is light and definitely something that could be enjoyed by everyone. Don't forget to go "WA!" when you listen to this song 🤣!
Final thought 。。。
This singles really marked the versatile of west in term of their music and I'm proud of it. They never stick to the same sound and you can hear it from every songs being released in this singles. We have a catchy, kakkoi, sweet & fluffy, happy, and all in one singles 🥰.
Also, west shown a great achievement in getting this singles sell for 230K for 1st week 🥳. おめでとう！And it even beat 証拠 numbers. Wishing all the best to west and Jas, let's keep on supporting and spreading west name to everyone!
