Celebrating WEST. 10th Anniversary!

Hi Jasmine!

We have reached WEST. 10th Anniversary!! おめでとう！！

Recalling back the first time I meet them was during C-19 through Johnny's World, Happy Live With You! on YouTube. I'm not saying C-19 is good a thing but if it wasn't for it, I wouldn't be here today, celebrating their anniversary together with Jasmines from around the world. 

During the premier of Johnny's World, Happy Live With You!, たまたま it was the first day of the show and WEST. was the second act of the day at 8PM. Maybe I was destined to meet them because I DID NOT search them, it just happen to be in my recommendation (YouTube algorithms scared me at times 😅). Anyway, since there was pretty much nothing to do at that times, so I end up watching the whole 6 act of the show for 4 freaking days!

Originally, I do know about the company through 嵐 and there are several talents that I took notice of them (KAT-TUN, JUMP, SMAP, NEWS) but I never actually went ahead and dig more about them. Also, I was a K-pop fan at the time and J-pop idols seems a bit to distance for me. Plus, none of their music can be found on YouTube or any social media platform (guess all of us get lucky because of C-19, again, I'm just saying it).

I watched their performance and I'm not sure whether I've said it before but at that time, I was contemplating whether to choose in digging more about WEST. or JUMP. The tiebreaker was WEST. being younger than JUMP and most probably has lesser content for me to keep up till the current one (I know it sound a bit ridiculous but that was it at that time). Another thing that struck me beside the reason above is that each of them is a good singer. They may not have STARTO's typical idol look, but hell yeah they can sing!

After that day, I was never the same again. I watched their butai, concert, listening to their song, joined the Jasmine community, held a livestream event with Jasmine around the world, bought their CDs and merch and now I'm hoping to see and be there at their 10th Anniversary concert in Japan!!

Even if I'm not able to be at their concert, I wish to be in Japan by this year - 2024! I mean, just being there could actually give me an unforgettable memory that could last for a lifetime!

Sidetrack from my wishes, tell me, how can I not get hooked on them when they gave me this. They never afraid to get dirty or being boke despite calling themselves an idol and this was taken during their Special 10th Anniversary Livestream on YouTube. You can check it Here!

The whole livestream was super fun because they went from clean-cut handsome gentlemen to a sprayed-painted gentlemen and not to forget, they even sang a song while looking like that!! And I personally felt that Ryusei had the best painted-face because his ikemen face was nowhere to be found by the end of the stream 😂.

Even though it is only my 4th year as a Jasmine, I'm happy that I was able to see their growth and be there with them at every single step until today. There were times where I was not able to participate in all of their activities or every comeback but the Jasmine's communities never failed to keep me updated and here I am again at their 10th Anniversary (やった!!). 

I'm looking forward to what awaits us on the AWARD Album and praying that miracle will fall on me so I could be at their concert in Japan!
